Yuhin Kuch...

Yuhin kuch jhooth..

zindigi ka rukh badal jaate hain,

haqiqat ko zameen aur..

chaahat ko aasmaan de jaate hain,

yuhin kuch jhooth..

zindigi ka rukh badal jaate hain,

khwaahishon ko umeed..

aur ummeedon ko muqaam de jaate hain!

You Taught Me the Meaning of Life!

I had been sailing

on the waters of life,

like a rudderless boat

bereft of its direction,

until my eyes chanced upon you

one fine day;

relishing the hard hitting rains

on your wobbling legs,

and capturing the heavenly bliss

in your tiny, twinkling eyes..

I saw you getting drenched in the

exquisite beauty of that fond moment,

collecting a handful of raindrops

in your tender palms;

the divinity of nature

reflecting immaculately

in your innocent eyes,

and the bliss of the divine blessings

radiating their aura

on your admirable face..

Enamored by the vivacity

of that tender moment,

I retreated to my inner self,

resuming my journey towards

self exploration,

with a never before

zest and ecstasy!

And the Nostalgia Sets In!

This one goes for a former friend, who somehow, din't make it to my present and would never be allowed to pry into my future. This one's for you, Smriti!

Sieving your face in the crowd,

I seem loosing control

over my senses,

and the nostalgia sets in!

Moments of those celebrated times,

take control of my mind,

rekindling the ashes of

the leftover love and hatred.

Life seems witty,

throwing one of its

filthy challenges at me.

It shatters my heart to

accept your hatred coated abuses,

killing me over and over again,

with intensifying anger and pain.

May be, in a corner of my heart,

I still long for

mutual love and peace,

nurturing dwindling hopes of,

reliving those unforgettable days,

when time had almost

lost count and become one with us.

May be I still wish to

bury the mutual differences

and move one step ahead,

call out for you,

with a clear heart,

and open arms,

and embrace you in a tight hug.

May be ,its just a dream,

that might never come true,

leaving behind a trail of,

wounded memories and unfulfilled desires,

leaving me in the lurch,

at the mercy of dwindling hopes,

till the time,

I again sieve your face in the crowd,

loose control over my senses,

and let the Nostalgia set in!

This is an acrostic poetry. An acrostic is a composition in which the first letter in each line forms a word or message, when read in sequence.

Rebelling against the sweltering Mother earth, they

adorn her with lustrous globules,

instigating me to become one with

nature's playful moods, and

devote myself completely in admiring such

romantic vibes of the timid clouds, that seem

overwhelmed by their impulsive out-pours, that

paint the earth in hues of blue, courtesy their

showers of blessings, happiness and hopes!

Kuch Naadaan Baatein!

Wo bachpan ki yaadein..

aur kuch naadaan baatein..

wo maasum jazbaat..

aur aankhon mein sapne beshumaar..

wo papa ki thapkiyan..

aur mummy ka laad..

wo barsaat ki jhadiyan..

aur kaagaz ki kashtiyan..

wo pal mein katti..

aur jhatt se abba..

wo khel-kud se dosti..

aur padhai se tauba..

wo sardiyon ki dhundh..

aur maa ki jhapki..

wo meri chulbuli sharartein..

aur papa ki muskurahat..

wo cycle ki sawaari..

aur us par sawaar mummy ki dulaari..

wo school ki ghanti..

aur doston ke sang masti..

wo gudiyon ki duniya..

aur usme base anginat sapney..

wo teacher ki daant..

aur aankhon mein aansoon hazaar..

wo bhaagne ka junoon..

aur ladkhadate kadam..

wo nanhin si aankhen..

aur unme timtimate karoron sapne..

wo nakhron ki baarish..

aur papa ka dher saara pyaar..

wo masoom siskiyan..

aur mummy ka dulaar..

wo bachpan ki yaadein..

aur ye naadan baatein!

A Few Things Unsaid!

Deep down the recesses of my heart,

Once lay a sea of unfathomable sentiments,

that flowed unguarded by the trajectories of

Vindictive vicissitudes of life,

Emancipated by a vicious circle of

Dwindling hopes and raging disbeliefs,

that once curbed the innocence of my inner being,

Subjecting my vulnerable soul to,

a sadistic circle of callous corporealities,

Until the juncture,

my feeble inner voice unfettered itself

from the nadir of inane illusions,

Came to my rescue,

and became one with me,

And trust me, when I say,

the journey has been

incredibly beautiful ever since then!
